To promote optimal healing and independence with wound care, our patients are encouraged to take an active role in the healing of their wound. A wound care nurse specialist will coordinate a treatment plan from the initial consultation to subsequent discharge back to the referring provider.
The medical director for wound care is Dr. Richard Siira, a board-certified emergency medicine physician.
Patient Referral and Consultation Procedures
Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy are offered as non-acute, outpatient services only. To refer patients for an evaluation please call the Center. A consultation appointment will be made for the patient once all appropriate case documentation has been received.
