June 2013 Class Descriptions:
Morning Yoga - This gentle class focuses on breath, stretching and relaxation. Standing, seated and lying poses will move you in all planes and leave you feeling refreshed and ready for your day!
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00-8:45 a.m.
Fitness for the Diabetic – Uses all components of physical fitness to help create a well-balanced fitness routine to go along with balancing blood glucose levels and maintaining a balanced diet.
Monday and Thursday, 8:00-8:45 a.m.
Confetti Fitness for the Active Older Adult - This class is never the same from week to week but planned to include all the components of physical fitness for the week. You never know what you're walking into: stretch, strength, yoga...Zumba.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00-9:45 a.m.
Fitness Yoga - Have you done yoga before, or are you ready for a continuous movement yoga class? This is the one for you! Stretching, strengthening and elongating the spine through various poses will give you a total body workout and feeling of accomplishment. The class will help you increase range of motion and improve cardiovascular health.
Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00-9:45 a.m.
Bodies in Balance - This beginner class combines several activities and exercises to help improve balance and stability and strengthen the core.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 11:00-11:45 a.m.
Men Only - No frills, but always a challenge. Work on strength, cardio, balance, stretch and coordination. Variety is the name of this game!
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Lunch Time Yoga – No sweat, just breathing and stretching using basic yoga poses.
Two days a week, 12:15-12:45 p.m., at Warren Memorial Hospital. Call for details.
Resistance Class - Toning class using bands, hand weights and weighted bars to strengthen mucles and leave you feeling strong.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 5:00-5:45 p.m.
Zumba - Fun total-body workout using Latin-inspired dance moves that anyone can follow.
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 5:00-5:45 p.m.
