Profile:

Dr. James Dumont is board certified in general surgery. After earning a Bachelor’s degree from Cambridge University, he completed a Doctorate in Neurophysiology at Stanford University. He studied medicine at McGill University, graduation with honors in 1988, and served as a rotating intern at the Regina General Hospital in Saskatchewan. He then worked for two years at Jane Furse Hospital, 450-bed hospital in a black homeland in South Africa, as a medical officer, and as the Medical Superintendent. He returned to the USA to complete a surgical residency at the Medical center of Delaware in Wilmington. Dr. Dumont was chairman of the Department of Surgery at Winchester Medical Center from 2003-2005.
