Profile:

Dr. Gibson is board certified in General Surgery. He has been associated with the Winchester Surgical Clinic since July 1977. He received his medical degree from Temple University in 1972. Surgical internship and residency were served at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is on staff at the Surgi-Center of Winchester and the Winchester medical Center where he has served as Chief of Surgery and as president of the Medical Staff. Dr. Gibson is a member of a number of professional organizations. He is the past President of the Virginia Surgical Society. He also belongs to the Medical Society of Virginia, American College of Surgeons, Southeast Surgical Congress, American Medical Association, the Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgery, and has served as a board member of the local chapter of the American Cancer Society. He has authored several medical publications.
