Hampshire Memorial Moves into New Facility

Using a fleet of ambulances and wheelchair vans, staff with Valley Medical Transport expertly transported 30 long-term care residents and six medical/surgical patients Saturday from the former Hampshire Memorial Hospital to its new facility 4.4 miles to the east on Sunrise Boulevard. Potomac Valley Transit Authority (PVTA), which serves the elderly and others in need, also assisted with the move. The entire resident/patient transfer took approximately three hours to complete.
