Valley Health offers mammography at all six of our hospital imaging locations as well as at Valley Health | Spring Mills in Martinsburg, WV. With seven convenient locations to choose from, you can always find care close to home. Each of these Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) certified facilities is fully accredited by the American College of Radiology.
Screening mammography is the first line of defense against breast cancer. It is recommended that all women schedule a mammogram once a year when they turn 40. Your doctor may recommend an exam sooner than this if you have above average risk factors, such as cases of breast cancer in your family history.
In addition to digital 2D mammography, we also offer state-of-the-art 3D mammograms. Any woman can benefit from the additional detail from 3D imaging but most especially women with dense breast tissue or risk factors, like a family history of breast cancer.
