Infectious Disease
Valley Health Infectious Disease offers expertise in the diagnosis and medical treatment of infectious diseases, including those caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, and other microbial agents. Our physicians have specialized knowledge in the appropriate selection of both oral and intravenous antimicrobial therapy. In addition, our consultants provide expert consultation in the field of multi-drug resistant organisms and emerging infectious diseases. We offer expertise in travel medicine, providing consultation and administering appropriate travel vaccinations and malaria prophylaxis.

Upon referral from and consultation with your primary care physician, our physicians determine what testing and forms of treatment are best suited to diagnose and understand your infection and prevent recurrent infections. Self-referrals are welcome for our Travel Clinic. The practice is accepting new patients for infectious disease consults, and accepts most major insurances.
