Diabetes Management - Valley Health

Valley Health's Diabetes Management Program (DMP) is very proud to be recognized by the American Diabetes Association since 1993 for their outstanding educational program. We offer individual and group appointments available for people with diabetes.

Diabetes management is a self-management disease. When people participate in their health care experience, the complications of diabetes and hyperglycemia can be prevented or delayed.

Diabetes educators (dietitians and nurses) are dedicated to teaching and supporting people with diabetes and helping them manage this chronic disease on a daily basis. They have the committed patient hours, skills and successful examination necessary to be awarded the status of Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).

Outpatient services are offered in Winchester at 333 West Cork Street, in Front Royal at Warren Memorial Hospital, in Romney at Hampshire Memorial Hospital, in Woodstock at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital, and in Luray at Page Memorial Hospital.
