Valley Physician Enterprise

Valley Health patients are supported by an outstanding medical team, with specialties ranging from family practice to neurosurgery. Over 500 physicians are involved with the care of patients at our six hospitals and most are independent practitioners. Approximately 50 physicians are employees of Valley Health and part of the Valley Physician Enterprise (VPE).

Reflecting a nationwide trend, physicians and hospitals see advantages of being on the same team. Efficiencies can be obtained by partnerships and physicians can devote their full energies to patient care while hospital personnel attend to the day to day issues of running a practice.

An employment model is not the right model in all cases.
