A Journal Promotes Sleep

Try beating insomnia by keeping a notebook near your bed, says the Better Sleep Council. Before going to sleep, write down your worries, the tasks you must complete the next day and anything else in your thoughts. Doing this will help you forget about your concerns until the morning, which should help you sleep better.

How tired are you, and how likely are you to doze off at inappropriate times?

Read the following situations and use the scale provided to rate your sleepiness.

0 = would never doze
1 = slight chance of dozing
2 = moderate chance of dozing
3 = high chance of dozing Situation Chance of Dozing
