Valley Health’s Winchester Medical Center (WMC) has been certified
by the Joint Commission as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center. As such,
patients treated in the center have the best chance of stroke survival
and will experience state-of-the-art recovery services. In addition, our

Deep Brain Stimulation surgery. This procedure can often decrease and,
in some cases, alleviate tremors.
In collaboration with Mariecken Fowler, MD, Valley Health has introduced
ImPACT™ to local high schools. This program stands for Immediate
Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing. The program tracks student
athletes and monitors their return to play after impact.
