Opened in 1985, Surgi-Center of Winchester offers expert surgical services in a comfortable and friendly outpatient setting. Located on the campus of Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Surgi-Center of Winchester is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
With six operating rooms, Surgi-Center performs more than 10,000 surgical procedures each year. It’s highly trained staff prides has a long-standing record of providing high quality, competent services and prides itself on creating a positive experience for every patient.
To help younger patients feel more comfortable and less anxious, the staff created “Teddy’s Tour,” a DVD that is available for families to view prior to their child’s surgery. The DVD illustrates a day in the life of a child having surgery at the Surgi-Center. The movie is available at the Surgi-Center, or you can request a copy of the DVD at your surgeon’s office when your child’s procedure is scheduled.
