 Valley Health offers women of the northern Shenandoah Valley a full range of services for obstetric and gynecological care, from non-complicated natural deliveries to high-risk pregnancy, surgical procedures and breast care. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Winchester Medical Center is a 21-bed specialty unit comprised of an RN staff specially educated to care for moderately to critically ill newborns along with stable-growing low birth weight infants.
Physicians and nursing staff work with families to meet the desires and clinical needs of patients within modern facilities in Front Royal and Winchester, Virginia. For women who are pregnant, "family centered care" ensures that the birth of their baby is planned the way the family wants, and that the special experience will be memorable for all involved.
Valley Health offer courses in early pregnancy, childbirth education, breast-feeding, sibling readiness, epidural information and infant massage.
