Valley Health Urgent Care, located on Jubal Early Drive in Winchester and in the WMH Outpatient Center on Commerce Avenue in Front Royal, provides cost-effective treatment of minor illnesses and injuries when the services of the emergency room are not necessary and the patient’s primary care physician is not available. Valley Health Urgent Care offers on-site radiology and lab services. Urgent care is open 365 days a year, including holidays.
Same-Day Appointments
While still welcoming walk-in patients, Valley Health Urgent Care also offers the convenience of Same-Day Appointments. Each day patients can call in and select the time which works best for them from the appointments available that day. Patients should arrive approximately five minutes before their appointment time to complete the registration process and then they will be seen with little or no wait. Same-day appointments can be scheduled by calling 540-504-0023 (Winchester) or 540-635-0700 (Front Royal).
After Your Appointment…
After initial treatment, patients are referred back to their primary physician for follow-up care. If a patient does not have a physician, the staff can make a referral through Valley Health’s free physician referral service.
Methods of Payment
Payment is expected at the time of service.Valley Health Urgent Care accepts cash, personal checks, MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express. As a courtesy, Urgent Care will bill the patient’s insurance. Insurance information must be provided at the time of service. Coverage by HMO's will be verified prior to treatment.
